Product Overview

The Carnivore 2 Panel (2P) Hunting Saddle is the ultimate combination of lightweight, low drag, and unparalleled comfort. After years of relentless tinkering, testing, and fine-tuning, we’ve created the ultimate 2 panel saddle that’s as easy to use as it is comfortable. Whether you're trekking deep into public land or locking in for a dawn-to-dusk sit on the family farm, the Carnivore 2P has your back. Silent and durable, the integrated RAD system allows for easy stow or deployment of the bottom panel while maintaining the low-drag profile of the saddle. Our patent-pending Quad Lock UtiliBridge® lets you adjust the top and bottom panels independently, so you can fine-tune your fit and hunt comfortably all day long.

Product Features
  • 2 Panel Saddle - Fully adjustable independent panels allow you to adjust and fine-tune comfort for all-day saddle hunts.
  • Quad Lock UtiliBridge® - Allows for independent adjustment of the top and bottom panels. Bridge Barrels (installed) allow the panels to float freely.
  • RAD System - Tethrd's patented Rapid Accessory Deployment (R.A.D) System easily and quietly transforms Carnivore from hunt mode to transport mode.
  • No Slop Design - Prevents the lower panel from sagging, keeping the Carnivore fitted to your body.
  • Lay-flat Bridge Loops - Reduces hip pinch for all-day comfort, and increases mobility during the shot.
  • MOLLE Webbing - Used for pocket attachment (compatible with all Tethrd pockets), and bonus MOLLE loops allow for additional accessory points.
  • Freedom Belt - Floats within the waist channel allowing for maximum adjustability and comfort, especially when extra layers are needed.
  • Lineman Loops - More user friendly, these extra large loops are used to attach the Lineman Belt effortlessly.

Carnivore Q&A

Fit

A single panel saddle is one continuous piece that’s lighter, simpler, and great for quick, mobile hunts but offers less adjustability for long sits. A two panel saddle has two separate sections that can be adjusted mid-hunt for better weight distribution and all-day comfort. While single panels are easier to use, two panels provide more versatility and reduce pressure points over time.

Absolutely. The Carnivore 2P is lightweight and low-profile, designed for stealth and mobility, making it ideal for deep public land hunts.

Yes! The Carnivore 2P was designed to offer maximum comfort and adjustability for hunters of all sizes, body types, and works especially well for hunters with pain points in their back.

The 2 panel design with the Quad Lock UtiliBridge® allows you to independently fine-tune the top and bottom panels, helping eliminate hip pinch and pressure points.

Whether you're tall, broad, or built differently than most, the Carnivore 2P adapts to you for all-day comfort.

Waist: 36'' and below should order a Regular.
Waist: 38''+ should order an XL.

Saddle Features

The panels on the Carnivore 2P are not detachable, and honestly, that’s a good thing.

They’re fully adjustable and snap into each other with the RAD System, which lets you stow or deploy the bottom panel quickly and quietly without dealing with extra straps or loose parts.

The saddle fits so well and moves so naturally that you’ll forget you’re even wearing it. It functions great as a single panel and really shines when used as a two panel. Once you try it, you won’t be asking how to take panels off, you’ll be wondering why you didn’t start hunting this way sooner.

Yes! You can absolutely use the Carnivore 2P Saddle as a single panel saddle. During testing, we found the single panel to be so comfortable that we would forget to deploy the second panel until snack time kicked in.

Whenever you're ready to deploy the top panel, simply pull out the R.A.D.s and fine tune your comfort.

Yes! Modular Pockets and SYS Haulers will fit on the Carnivore.

Additionally, the Carnivore 2P includes bonus MOLLE loops for extra attachment points, giving you plenty of flexibility to configure your setup exactly how you want it.

Yes, the free-floating barrels on the Carnivore 2P Saddle can be removed. These barrels, also known as bridge bushings, are part of Tethrd’s Quad Lock UtiliBridge® system and are designed to allow the top and bottom panels to float independently, allowing the saddle to self-equalize and distribute weight evenly.

For those that want to make micro-adjustments to fit, you can easily remove the bridge barrels and manually adjust the top and bottom panels with the Quad Lock UtiliBridge®.

The saddle does not come with the Lineman Belt and Tree Tether. See our Carnivore 2 Panel Starter Kit to get yours with the essentials to get started saddle hunting!

Best Two-Panel Saddle

I have used the Eberhardt two-panel for about theee years. I only considered another saddle because I’m older and experiencing some pain. The Carnivore is a lot more comfortable. Live it so far.

Best saddle out there! Unlocking the second pannel is great for longer hunts. It feels super confortable and maintains the light weight properties for mobile hunting. I love it. Only thing that I dont like is the buttons to unlock that second pannel.. it may just be me but it can take some effort to undo them. Other than that its a great saddle!

Best One Yet

I have the Phantom Elite, Ultralock and now the Carnivore. I love the 2 panel design, comfort and flexibility. I'm hoping Tethrd comes out with a more stream lined style of sys haulers similar to the ones on the Ultralock. I added the SYS Hauler ES 2.0 to each side, but the zippered style of the modular saddle pockets are more functional, just need to be a bit smaller in my opinion. But for the Carnivore, it's a winner!!!

Rock On

Been a sit and stand tree climber for years. Was looking for a new experience in hunting, as I enter my later years. Hunting from my climber in New Year last week, ordered 2 panel ultra light bundle. Spent the week studying videos and getting excited for Saturday delivery. Great job Tethrd for the training videos. Saturday took everything to the woods after lunch and practiced for a few hours to prepare for evening hunt. It’s truly a process hunting this way. Someone said on video, what you do going up in tree you reverse it to get back down. So true! Rainy and windy day in PA didn’t dampen my first experience. Was completely comfortable and felt safe. I practiced the multiple shooting positions and movability in tree. This is a whole new hunting experience and I can now hunt trees in area that were unattainable with climber. Game Changer! I ordered knee pads and will wear boots with better arch support. My Muck rubber boots didn’t provided enough foot comfort. I’ve also had 2 knee surgeries in recent years. Climbing was not a problem with 4 One sticks (gonna order an adder or 2). Weight balance and movement perfect for keeping legs and knees engaged in tree. Very comfortable. Can’t wait for full day rut sits in early November. Rock On!
