I recently purchased the Tethrd Ranger Saddle, and my first piece of advice is simple: buy one now—don’t wait.

I’ve owned several saddles over the years, including some of the earlier models from other manufacturers, and there’s no chance I’ll be going back. My previous saddle was the Tethrd Mantis, which I absolutely loved, but the Ranger is on an entirely different level.

The pouch system is incredibly easy to attach and provides a tremendous amount of storage. In fact, it offers enough capacity that it could nearly eliminate the need for a backpack on many hunts. The solid yoke design delivers exceptional comfort while hiking deep into public land, preventing sagging and eliminating the hip pinch that can come with other saddles.

I’m 5’10” 230 and purchased the Regular a WI hunter

With buying a new house that required a ton of renovations, and having a baby (all in May/June)...we elected to buy a saddle starter kit that we could share. I've always been a ground hunter, my husband has always been a climbin' tree stand guy. We both love the saddle. I was skeptical to try it, but when both daughters napped in tandem (a true rarity) I had my golden opportunity to try it out. It's seemingly efficient, and feels extremely safe. It exceeded my expectations and my skepticism has been replaced with an eagerness to try it out on archery opener here soon. It's comfortable, and well built. Once life slows a bit, I'll likely order my own. *Excuse our insulation and siding project mess in the pictures*

I wanted to get into the saddle game for more flexibility on public land. It makes it very easy to put on at the truck, and hike back in as far as you want. Many hours have been spent in it during the pre-season practicing with my bow and I can tell it will be comfortable during those longer sits!

Don’t have much to compare it to but as a first time user its been easy to use and feels secure.
