I am not a fan of heights but this addition to my ropes was the best thing I did in saddle hunting. I have much more confidence and can do everything one handed now. I took my first shot out of the tree today at a target and felt extremely secure and confident. I got dead center on my target and I truly believe it’s mainly due to the Ascender. Highly recommend this to anyone with a saddle or new to saddle hunting.

First use, first time being in a saddle. Didn’t have time to do a practice run in the yard before my first hunt with new setup. Didn’t even need it! Watched a quick YouTube video on how to operate the rope man 1 safely, and was up in the tree in the dark (early am). Just did a test at base of the tree before ascending. had 5 deer come into shooting range at first light!
Great addition to any saddle. Makes adjustments easy from your lineman belt or your tethrd line.
